Joe Libby, Principal
Joe Libby has over 20 years of gourmet food, beverage management and bar catering experience. He earned both a Culinary and Associates of Arts degree from Santa Barbara City College. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In addition to his Hospitality degrees, Joe is a certified Chef, Hospitality Accountant and Bartender.
San Francisco’s renowned Sir Francis Drake Hotel benefited from Joe’s vast experience, managing their bar catering department. Joe began Epic Cuisine Catering LLC (L.A. based entertainment industry catering services co.), that worked with TV shows such as: “Friends”, “Drew Carey Show”, “E.R”, ”That 70’s Show”, “America’s Most Wanted”, MAD TV and film wrap parties: including “Lethal Weapon”.
Mitchell Harris, Principal
Mitch has been in the food and beverage industry for over 18 years. He started his career at a multi-million dollar National restaurant chain rising to the position of General Manager within a short period of time. Soon thereafter, Mitch owned and operated his own restaurant in the Los Angeles area. It became clear throughout his time in the industry that the bar and beverage aspect of his experience was his passion, leading Mitch to start Paradise Bar and Beverage Services in 1999.
His initial introduction into the industry was steeped in the tradition of cocktail preparation, grooming him in the art of “Cocktail Mixology”. He creates cutting edge cocktails using fresh fruit and berries combined with unique herbs and seasonal ingredients. Mitch’s creativity is paving the way for future trends in the industry.
Mitch prides himself on the high level of service he provides at each and every event. In addition, his strengths lie in his ability to make an event run seamlessly from the staff, insurance and permits, to the actual creative concept of the bar.
